Paro FC Crowned BoB Bhutan Premier League Champions of 2026 season

Paro FC have been crowned champions of the 2026 BoB Bhutan Premier League, securing their third consecutive league title after another impressive campaign. The Tigers confirmed the championship before the final day of the season, demonstrating their dominance throughout the competition.

Paro FC finished the league with an outstanding record of 16 wins, one draw and one loss, collecting 49 points from a possible 54. Their consistent performances throughout the season helped them stay ahead of their closest competitors and secure the title with games still remaining.

The champions celebrated their achievement during the season finale at the Woochu Sports Arena in Paro. Although Paro FC lost their final match 2–1 against Transport United FC, the result did not affect their position at the top of the table because they had already secured enough points to become champions.

Paro’s success was built on a strong attacking performance throughout the season. The club recorded several convincing victories, including a 10–0 win against Ugyen Academy FC and a 7–0 victory over Tsirang FC. They also defeated RTC FC 4–0 and Thimphu FC 5–1 during the campaign.

The championship adds another important achievement to Paro FC’s growing history in Bhutanese football. Their continued success has established the club as one of the country’s strongest football teams and has raised expectations for future domestic and international competitions.

Paro FC President Karma Jigme said the title was the result of significant effort and investment from the club. He also thanked the players, technical team, management and supporters for contributing to the team’s success.

Head coach Pushpalal Sharma also received recognition, being named the BFF President’s Coach of the Year. Sharma credited the entire club, including the management, technical staff, players and fans, for the team’s continued success.

With another league title secured, Paro FC now look ahead to their next challenges. Their latest championship further strengthens their position at the top of Bhutanese football and sets the stage for another competitive season.
